HEARTS’ Master Classesat the Landmark Continues in 2019-2020
HEARTS and Landmark on Main Street, two Port Washington non-profits whose missions are rooted in supporting the arts throughout the community, announce the 2019-2020 schedule for new master classes. The continuing HEARTS Master Class at Landmark at Main Street series, first launched in Fall 2018, offers FREE experiential workshops led by skilled and celebrated professional artists in a variety of disciplines. Classes offered are for adults and students (high school and up) who want to learn or expand their knowledge and experience in different art forms.
Following the four master classes in late 2018 and early 2019—focused on singing techniques, acting and audition prep, songwriting and dance—the upcoming classes explore the craft of storytelling, and dance for active seniors. HEARTS will also host a special fundraiser event to benefit its mission and future programs, showcasing storytellers from the new series' first event.
Participation requires registration, and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. All others are welcome to observe in the audience.
