Gina was a Friend of the Arts and an artist when it came to friendships.
A gifted actress, loving family member and a golden friend who always had a smile, a laugh and love to share.
Gina's whole life was a testimony to the power and joy of a life lived artistically.
Her gift to the Port Washington community was being involved in many community theater productions
and she always supported community arts fundraising efforts.
HEARTS remembers Gina and honors her with the creation of the Gina Farasciano Community Theater Grant.
This HEARTS grant will award $1000 each year to a community theater program in Port Washington.
2020-2021 Recipients: Port Summer Show, Community Synagogue Theater Company
2021-2022 Recipient: Schreiber Theater Company
2022-2023 Recipient: Landmark Radio Theater
2023-2024 Recipient: Port Washington Play Troupe
2024-2025 Recipient: Weber Middle School Drama Club
