GRANT APPLICATION INFORMATION FOR 2021-2022
UPDATE, as of November 11, 2021: Due to the overwhelming response and wonderful submissions for programs, HEARTS is closing its official 2021-2022 grant application at this time. We are excited about the meaningful arts programs and experiences that will fill our schools and community in the months ahead. While our application cycle is now closed, we are, however, still happy to listen to your ideas. Please contact our Grant Committee Chair, Michele Posner Goldman at [email protected]. Thank you, Port Washington!

HEARTS is thrilled to bring the Port Washington Schools and surrounding community the opportunity to apply for grants in the arts during the 2021-2022 year. While COVID-19 is still a risk, we feel that the inclusion of art, music, theater and other art forms are just what the community needs to feel more positive. We are offering a limited number of grants and welcome the community the opportunity to apply for funding for valuable programs that align with our mission. This year we will have "rolling submissions." Grants will be reviewed throughout the 2021-2022 school year cycle and applicants will be notified by HEARTS of a decision within 2-3 weeks after receipt of a completed grant application. Please see the application enclosed - good luck!

We encourage detailed, collaborative proposals across all art forms as it is our goal to reach as many students and members of our community as possible. All grant programs must support the mission of HEARTS, have a clear purpose and objectives, have a detailed and realistic budget proposal and timeline, and explain expected outcomes as well as methods to measure and report on such outcomes.
Previous applicants and grantees may apply for grants again. We cannot, however, guarantee programs that have been funded multiple times in the past will be chosen again.
Contact Michele Posner Goldman of HEARTS with any questions.
