GRANT APPLICATION INFORMATION FOR 2020-2021
UPDATE, March 30, 2020:
During these unprecedented times and after much discussion as an organization, HEARTS has decided to temporarily delay the deadline to apply for a 2020-2021 grant. We know the tremendous value of arts experiences to our community, and we are still committed to granting projects and initiatives. Given the domino effect of so many factors in our community and beyond, we will re-evaluate our schedule and timeline for grant applications, and provide an update in the months ahead, likely in the summer. For those applications we have already received, we will hold onto them and get back to you during the summer.
The arts continue to inspire and motivate us all, especially during these tough and uncertain times. Let's commit to creativity, discovery, and joy. We are providing resources for digital arts experiences on our Facebook page, and we hope you will consider these with your family, students, and friends.

HEARTS is thrilled to announce the opportunity for eligible applicants to apply for funding to create visual and performing arts initiatives in the Port Washington School District and community. We encourage detailed, collaborative proposals across all art forms as it is our goal to reach as many students and members of our community as possible. All grant programs must support the mission of HEARTS, have a clear purpose and objectives, have a detailed and realistic budget proposal and timeline, and explain expected outcomes as well as methods to measure and report on such outcomes.
Please note that the HEARTS grant cycle coincides with the school calendar year. This means you should apply for grants that will be completed between September 2020 and June 2021.
Previous applicants and grantees may apply for grants again. We cannot, however, guarantee programs that have been funded multiple times in the past will be chosen again.
