The goal of Curtain's Up is to teach acting, theatre, singing, and dance skills through the process of putting on a full-scale musical production. Students will also be able to showcase their talents and abilities in a public performance. Through being part of a cast and working together to put on a show, students should be able to discover new interests, build self-confidence, and develop a sense of community.

Co-advisors Allison Friedman and Stacey Baker have over fifteen years of combined music, dance, and theatre experience. For the last three years they have worked together on the Weber Middle School drama club productions (Footloose, Bye Bye Birdie, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat). They are very excited to take on this new endeavor!
